About JAX
The most handsome Jax is just 12 months old and is the most adorable, friendly and biddable little Stafford. Jax was surrendered due to his previous owner no longer having time to cater for his needs and has been in our care since the beginning of July. During that time, he has proven to be a most affable and lovable pet. Like all Staffords, Jax loves his cuddles and once fully exercised, his snoozes on the sofa.
Jax is a very fun-loving dog. He is bright, intelligent and very alert. He is the ideal canine companion for a family that is looking for a young dog that is well past their disruptive and destructive puppy stage.
Due to a lack of exposure to certain situations and environments in his previous home, Jax is a little unsure about some things such as road walking, traffic and especially large lorries that make a loud noise, but we are confident that if he is gradually introduced to these and other unfamiliar distractions his confidence will grow and they will no longer be an issue for him. Just a little bit of time and patience is all Jax needs to make him an all-round delightful dog.
Jax is super dog friendly. So much so that we are seeking an adoptive family with one (possibly two) robust dog that also enjoys playful interaction and fun times with other canines. When around other dogs, Jax’s little insecurities completely disappear so it is important that he is rehomed with an existing dog or at the very least a family that has regular contact with other dogs.
A medium energy dog, Jax will benefit hugely from at least one, preferably two, good walks a day, although living with another dog/s and having lots of playtimes will undoubtedly reduce his need to be out and about every single day.
Jax is a very happy-go-lucky dog and will no doubt bring the right family lots of laughter and good times. His beautiful wide smile will brighten the dullest of days.
We have no history of Jax ever having lived with small children and for that reason he is looking for a home where any children would need to be aged 12 years or above.
A good sized, secure garden is a must.
Jax is fully housetrained, walks well on the lead, sleeps well at night and travels well in a car after a little bit of encouragement to get in it.
